Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Bustedware LLC, doing business as SecuriTLS ("SecuriTLS", "Bustedware", "we", "us", or "our"), provides a certificate management and PKI automation platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SecuriTLS, including our website, application, APIs, satellite agent, certificate management tools, validation tools, deployment workflows, and related services.

By creating an account, accessing SecuriTLS, using the website, using the API, downloading or running a SecuriTLS satellite agent, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use SecuriTLS.

1. The Service

SecuriTLS provides tools for managing certificates, certificate authorities, certificate lifecycle workflows, certificate validation, device records, deployment workflows, CRLs, OCSP-related workflows, API keys, alerts, credentials, storage settings, and satellite-based automation.

Some features may depend on your subscription plan, configuration, connected storage provider, payment status, satellite availability, third-party services, or other technical requirements.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time.

2. Eligibility and Authority

3. Accounts and Security

4. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for the certificates, devices, domains, hostnames, networks, systems, credentials, private keys, certificate authorities, and configurations you create, upload, connect, manage, validate, or deploy through SecuriTLS.

5. Certificate and Key Management

SecuriTLS may generate, store, encrypt, decrypt, transmit, validate, deploy, or otherwise process certificates, certificate metadata, certificate authorities, private keys, encrypted private keys, credentials, and related security materials depending on your configuration and subscription plan.

You acknowledge that certificate and private key management is security-sensitive. Misconfiguration, loss of keys, incorrect certificate issuance, incorrect revocation, failed deployment, expired certificates, broken chains, unavailable CRLs, OCSP errors, or unauthorized access may cause service outages, security incidents, or other harm.

You are responsible for choosing appropriate certificate settings, expiration dates, key sizes, key usages, extended key usages, SANs, hostnames, certificate authorities, storage providers, custody options, and deployment settings.

SecuriTLS may provide features intended to improve security, such as encryption, bring-your-own-key options, satellite-based key custody, API key controls, alerts, validation, and deployment checks. These features do not guarantee that your systems are secure or that certificates, keys, devices, or deployments are free from error.

6. Satellite Agent

SecuriTLS may offer a satellite agent or similar software component that runs in your environment to perform local operations, such as certificate generation, key handling, credential handling, deployment, validation, SSH-based actions, CRL-related workflows, OCSP-related workflows, or other automation.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SecuriTLS to:

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use violates this Acceptable Use section or creates legal, security, operational, reputational, or payment-provider risk.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payment

We may change prices, plan features, or billing terms from time to time. For existing paid subscriptions, changes will apply as described in the notice we provide, on renewal, or as otherwise permitted by law.

9. Trials, Upgrades, Downgrades, and Cancellation

10. Customer Data

As between you and us, you retain ownership of the data, content, certificates, certificate metadata, device records, credentials, configurations, and other materials you submit to or generate through SecuriTLS ("Customer Data").

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and use Customer Data only as needed to provide, secure, support, maintain, and improve SecuriTLS; comply with law; prevent abuse; and enforce these Terms.

You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit Customer Data to SecuriTLS and to allow us to process it as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

By using SecuriTLS, you acknowledge that we may process personal information and service data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of SecuriTLS complies with applicable privacy, data protection, employment, security, and communications laws.

12. Confidentiality

Non-public information disclosed by one party to the other that is marked confidential or should reasonably be understood to be confidential must be protected using reasonable care.

Confidential information does not include information that is publicly available, independently developed, lawfully received from another source, or already known without confidentiality obligations.

We may disclose confidential information if required by law, court order, or government request, provided that we give notice when legally permitted.

13. Service Availability and Support

14. Third-Party Services and Integrations

SecuriTLS may interoperate with third-party services, including payment processors, storage providers, cloud providers, SSH servers, devices, infrastructure providers, email providers, logging providers, hosting providers, or other integrations.

We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party terms, third-party outages, third-party security, third-party data handling, or changes made by third-party providers.

Your use of third-party services is governed by the terms and policies of those providers.

15. APIs and Automation

16. Intellectual Property

These Terms do not transfer ownership of SecuriTLS or our intellectual property to you.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use SecuriTLS for your internal business or personal purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on SecuriTLS except as allowed by law or expressly authorized by us.

17. Feedback

If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.

18. Beta, Preview, and Experimental Features

We may offer beta, preview, early access, experimental, or trial features.

These features may be incomplete, unstable, changed, removed, or discontinued at any time. They may not be suitable for production use.

Beta, preview, and experimental features are provided "as is" and may be subject to additional limitations.

19. Disclaimers

SecuriTLS is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy, and reliability.

We do not warrant that SecuriTLS will prevent outages, prevent expired certificates, prevent misconfiguration, prevent unauthorized access, detect every issue, validate every certificate correctly, deploy every certificate successfully, or meet your specific security, compliance, operational, or business requirements.

You are responsible for independently verifying certificate status, deployment correctness, system security, compliance obligations, backups, and operational readiness.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bustedware LLC, SecuriTLS, and our owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, business interruption, security incidents, system outages, certificate errors, failed deployments, expired certificates, loss of goodwill, or cost of substitute services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or SecuriTLS will not exceed the greater of:

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

21. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bustedware LLC, SecuriTLS, and our owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to:

22. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using SecuriTLS at any time.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to SecuriTLS if:

Upon termination, your right to access the service ends. We may delete, retain, or export Customer Data according to our Privacy Policy, data retention practices, legal obligations, and technical capabilities.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, confidentiality, and governing law.

23. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of SecuriTLS after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

We will not use changes to these Terms or the Privacy Policy to retroactively grant ourselves broader rights to use your Customer Data in a materially different way without appropriate notice or consent where required by law.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You and Bustedware LLC agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or SecuriTLS will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Ohio, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
